Pete has over 25 years of experience recruiting in the employee benefits and life and health insurance industries. Before joining the recruiting profession, he was a trial litigator and appellate lawyer for a decade, focusing on products liability defense, ERISA, and international reinsurance company insolvencies.

Pete’s tenure allows him to make nuanced judgments during the search process. He can see the ball as it leaves the pitcher’s hand. He also looks at the big picture and builds foundational client and candidate relationships that are, in some instances, over two decades in duration. He is a student of business broadly and the insurance industry specifically, and possesses an intellectual curiosity around how things “work.” Pete is certified as both a Voluntary Worksite and Self-Funding Professional by NAHU.
